Mike and Ruth asked us to reinvent their Edwardian terrace-house kitchen. A designer and an artist, they had a good idea of what they wanted and it was just the kind of project we like – a balance of form and function.
We settled on raw faced ply cabinets, faced with a black and off white matt Fenix. This gave them a characterful, contemporary look and the durability they needed for the family space. The worktop and upstand are Minerva with a flecked pattern to pick out the cabinet colours.
The end result is a sharp, modern look, lots of clever storage packed into quite a small space, and it still compliments the period of the house. We are all especially happy with the coffee area, designed to hide the boiler and washing machine – the full height shelves are really impactful too. Also, the worktop really stands out. Minerva is a brilliant product to work with and one you can rescue if family life makes a mark. Even Wurli the spaniel got her own little space too!
Here are some more of the projects we are proud to have made.
Drop us a line, fill out the form or give us a call and we can talk about your project. We would love to help make it a reality.
